Philotas' last words
Massimo writes that Philotas' yelled "Alalai" at his execution just as the arrows pierced his heart. I can hear the roll of his tongue, but I wonder whether there is any historical basis for this assertion?
Re: Philotas' last words
No, but this is a verbal representation of the war cry of the Macedonians going into battle.
Re: Philotas' last words
Yiannis, we had the same feeling. For me his last words were 'aaaaiiii', portuguese transln for something like 'ouch'.

Re: Philotas' last words
