Well I am still searching 'waiting" for the answers of the book re;Alexander, however I am afraid that I have to appologise to our mutual friend Al, i.e (alabacnow), anyway, (waiting for answeres as I said), I must made some comments:...nobody is giving right answers even to my pointed book, even I (forget about it), so thinking about it i am wondering as Marcus pointed out ...fictional book..., so my wonder is who is so "knowledgeable" to wright somthing so sensitive and close/deep to Alexanders soul/dream if not him self... This is not some other book, this is not about fiction, even fiction will find it's own place in science, so again... maybe this is really book written by Alexander and his dreams/vissions... Personal life is for that person only like book i.e. Anne Frank diary..., so our friend Al has point in all this telling us that there must be somthing from Alexander, as I said before, the truth is between two lies and maybe mankind is not ready about the pure truth, so lets make ourselfs open to every and all posibilities becoming friends in real sense before THE TRUTH & LIGHT (BEFORE THE RAIN- Macedonian movie with very interesting topic, yes now is for real...), so lets wait and see...

First of all I am not standing all the time by my ccomputer to "jump" instatly on some comment wich is SENSITIVE-YES. In oneother words my comments are (most of them straight becouse of time...), anyway the fact is that we can undersund each other perfectly so obviously there is no problem there but maybe it is subjective ... I have respect of you and most of you becouse of your inteligent way of discussing topics and knowledge of same. So you must know that forum is "place" for constructive dialogue between subjects involved in particular forum, with no place of abusivness and simular ... So becouse this is voluntary creative/constructive "job", searching for unknown for us in this time and space, we need more respect and compassion for each other, so what is wrong if my statment is about making friendship with mutual respect until we- together find the truth about "unknown" for us, maybe hiden by somone else, what is wrong with that my friend, and why is so "nervousness" in your reply!?... That is wrong!... For me to say what I have written it was hard but necessery, becouse this topic pin-pointed by somone else is very interesting and is crutial for something very important (I do not want to comment further becouse of many reasons...), and there was plenty of time for you to discuss it. Again with your good knowledge of this topic there is no explanation for same so i am waiting answers for highly qualified persons in this area- librarians, to give me what we need! You are right, there are many sides of one truth but to siplify them we are elaborating and eliminating some of the to make it more and more simple- method of elimination!...There were quite interesting comments about this topic but with no proper answer, so my dear friend, becouse this is very important issiue now,(but again maybe is nothing...), again, I do not know, that is why I am searching for answer, and together we could find it easier. If there is some health problem and the need of medication is strong why to search if the medicine is already discovered, we can use it not to waste our time. If not we are searching for medicine but not alone but in teams just to get right therapy for serious problem. This is what is happaning now. I am asking you for help to find out source of this book and book about Alexander together, so what is wrong with that. Well, the young lady who originally asked the question has agreed that Alexander had written no book and yet he had apparently written a diary which was then put into a book form by another, as in the case of Anne Frank's diary, so the truth must be somewhere between the two. He may well have, as so many others including myself, written a book which was never published -poetry in my case - which was the basis for many books written about him without his own writings being given credit for having been a book in and of itself.

There's no evidence that Alexander wrote a diary, of any sort. If you are thinking of the Ephemerides, these were the notes that were written up with information (probably, although we aren't completely sure) such as distances travelled, troop losses and gains, embassies received, etc. They were a bit like a mixture of Hansard (the record of the UK parliament's procedings) and the Court and Social diary that appears in The Times.The Ephemerides were written up by the secretariat, not by Alexander.All the bestMarcus

Alexander did a great amount of writing, so much so that even the prolific Plutarch was impressed, wondering where he found the time to write so many letters. He wrote a number of letters to his mother, describing his exploits and other "goings-on," he wrote to Aristotle, describing the various new plants and animals he came across, and to various philosophers and friends, etc... In fact, there were entire books filled with nothing else but Alexander's letters.Maybe Dr. Najdovski has some copy of one of the "Alexander Romances." I've read some of Alexander's letters in these books filled with the most beautiful thoughts. One I remember is a letter from Alexander to one of the Indian philosophers (Dandamis?), demanding that he reveal some of his philosophic lore, saying that he would lose nothing by revealing it, saying that it is like the light of a torch. Dear Vasko, please clarify us. This book that you refer to, the one written back in around 1850 and which, as you mention, is about Alexander's last day and his predictions. The one that is written in what is, again as you say, "supposed" to be today's Modern Greek alphabet but in pure Macedonian language, and is printed in Venice- Italy.
So, is this book written in the modern SlavoMacedonian dialect but with Greek characters?

First of all you should keep your frustrations for your self and ignorance will leed you only in your
dissater..., so it is your free will... Now, lets talk about this phenomena-How is possible that only to -so called Greeks from Sth. of Olymp, my comments are not "clear", but to no one else... Paranoid / dellusional behaviour or too much drugs, maybe ouso...Who knows... It is not for kids... So, if there is a book-there is a book in Macedonian, with old Macedonian Alhabet, but unfortunatelly,today Greeks are claiming to be GREEK, maybe HELLEN, I do not know, better you go back to school... So if you are asking somone about so called slavs or whatever they are, you should open forum -GRECO-SLAVIC forum, and do what ever you want to do, but be serious and if you have no facts plesase show some respect for those who are proud to be Greeks and are talking facts...

Actually the drink is spelled Ouzo and I don't care much for it. When it comes to drugs, I haven't smoked any pot for almost a decade so I guess the effects should have passed by know. If you have respect you will deserve respect, if one have ignorance -that is what he get back...The book is very rare, the author is apparently priest from Macedonian descent, and he is translating the scroll found in Babylon, written as directed by Alexander himself while in agony. This book is full of predictions and on times even one could loose himself reading it, if he had no knowledge of such ... The letters are ancient Macedonian simular to church letters, today modern Greek letters. The language is Macedonian and is simular - almost identical to today Macedonian language. The book is translated and printed in Venice -Italy 1848, as a gift to mankind and to Alexander's country of birth- Makedonia. There is a copy of the book in Macedonian, and written is page vs. page, i.e. one side is original in Macedonian with Greek letters, and the other side is translation in Macedonian with Macedonian letters. One can easily read Greek letters with no problem, becouse as i said they are identical- almost to ancient Macedonian alphabet which is source - both, to Latin and Cirilic alphabet. I got this book in my hands right now, but I am going to give to somone who can do more...Why- ?! Because it is the way is should be...Destiny or ...
