I think that it is admirable that you have not only written a book about Alexander but got it published too. An all in all Alexandrian feat!Best wishes,

Congratulations, indeed.I'm in a bit of a cashflow crisis at the moment (yes, even for the measly -ú12-odd they're asking for it), but as soon as I overcome my financial blip I shall enjoy adding that to my library. It also works well as a spur to the rest of us who are looking to complete/publish our books! All the bestMarcus

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and support. I'm living proof that you can do it too. Just don't give up.
Also, because of the response, my book has *sold out* on amazon.co.uk (but not .com yet) and will be available soon, they assured me.
I'll let you know when the book once again becomes available.
Cheers!

Congratulations on the release of your book! That is wonderful that you have had it sold out already at Amazon.I liked the reference to the genes. I suspect that recessive genes make Alexander look a lot like Hercules. But I have always found Philip to be rather handsome. :-) Good luck!

Well I guess I better hurry up and get mine out there. Mine's titled "Shadow of the Lion" but it covers the period from Alexander's death to the end of his dynasty with the murder of his son and heir Alexander IV and also gives more points of view to the women involved in this tragedy. Roxana as his murdered? How did you figure that out? Interesting.

Roxanne involved in Alexander's death has been thrown up for discussion a few times. Depends on whether you suspect foul play via poison or poison meant to aid and abet a natural illness or whether you side for natural causes.
Roxanne in league with one or two other powerful players has also been up for discussion. Not that it did her much good, in the long run, nor anyone else! The fun of speculation

The addition of Roxane as murderer was to add some intrigue to the story. But- there has been some whispers, hasn't there? I just used it because it seemed more dramatic than him dying of an illness. It is fiction, after all! ;)
It's available on amazon.com now, but still sold out on the amazon.uk...Thanks again for all the support!!
