Location of Statue?
Greetings Companions! The picture on the front cover of J.F.C Fuller's "The Generalship of ATG" shows a bust of Alexander. I have never seen that bust in any Alexander-Art related resources. Does anyone know from what location that bust exists? The text itself does not indicate the location.Sincerely,Amazon Queen

Hi!
At the back of this book is written:
"Cover design by Mark J. Black
Photo from Culver Pictures"Maybe it will helm a little. I like this image - interesting that breastplate is same as on pompei mosaic. Maciek

Re: Location of Statue?
Thank you for the websites, but I, too, was unable to open them...ugh! The bust photo is interesting, for it captures an intriguing facial expression of, what it appears to be, a young Alexander in armor without helmet (how he may have looked in the Battle of Chaironea). The breastplate is also interesting. Youthfulness combined with aggression is sculpted well.Sighing,Amazon Queen
