Maciek,
I enjoyed your graphics and message boards. Sounds like you are having fun and gathering lots of interest. I especially like the graphic on the battle of Issus. While I am not trying to draw people to Alexander, I think it would be fun if the Greeks or Macedonians would build a theme park instead of carving a head on a mountain top. I think that the stories of Alexander make wonderful allegories, and that a theme park for children would be fun! What do you think?Jan

Thank You Janet!
It's true I like to write about Alexander and those maps was for a long time in my mind. Of course theese pictures shows only one point of view because other writers like Green had different opinion about it.
I'm glead that You enjoed it.
About this theme park... hmm.. Janet can You say something more about this Idea? Maciek

There is a great graphic in the Tactics and Strategy magazine with Alexander featured on the cover. The theme park would be a way of introducing children to the life of Alexander and the influences. It could be done many different ways.I doubt that it will ever happen. I had always wanted to have a religious/history theme park and that could include Alexander's life and journey too; but that is a long time in ever happening too.
The comparisons and contrasts between the religious belief that Alexander held to that of Jesus intrigue me. Surely, as Manfredi noted in his book the fact that Alexander was either a god or had the gods helping him in his endeavours seems to be quite true.Just something to think about!Jan

I tried to find in internet this magazine but I couldn't...
Nice Idea about that theme park. Everything is good what makes history closer for people.
I didn't read Manfredi's book. I prefere history science books then novels (with exeption for Ruth's book). Maciek

Hi Susa! Thanks a lot!
All this is based on Fuller's book "Generallship of ATG". Blue arrows are always better then red. Even today ...BTW I added new graphics, Gaugamela - this time. Maciek
