Dear All,
I read Donald W. Engels's 'Alexander the Great and the Logistics of the Macedonian Army'. I found it a great source for the daily life of the army (and also the non-combatents who moved with it) - how they washed, and cooked, etc. Do you know of other similar sources? Has anyone written an 'ethnography' of Alexander's army?
Thanks,
Ana
