Herakles and Ammon

Hello everyone,

I'm currently doing some research on Alexander's visit to the oracle at Siwah. I was wondering if there are any sources on Herakles' trip there other than Arrian 3.3? Poetic/mythological sources would be as appreciated as any material from the historians. Thanks,

You may want to try Herodotus who gives a good run down on the mythical origins of the Zeus Ammon oracle and Heracles' involvement.
