What was the similarity between ancient Greece & Persia ?
The Mycenaean Perseid dynasty included Heracles grandson of Electryon, Heracles's son Hyllus killed Sthenelus son of Perseus. Eurystheus son of Sthenelus became hostile towards Heracles, when Heracles died Eurystheus tried to kill all his descendants. This is the origin of the Dorian invasion, people loyal to Heracles killed Eurystheus the last of the Perseid dynasty.
The Perseid dynasty changed into the Atreid dynasty which were the Pelopides.
Remember that the Aegean sea was named after Aegeus the father of Theseus, in the time of the Atreid dynasty and Pelopides the Greeks called themself the Achaeans. What if the collapse of the Perseid dynasty resulted in the names; Achaeans & Achaeamenids ?
That both the Achaeans & Achaeamenids were actually Mycenaeans (Danaans).

The time between the fall of the Perseid dynasty and the founding of the Persian empire is covered by Assyrians & Babylonians in the middle East, that's probably the reason why the Persian culture became different from the Greeks because of those 2 ruling empires.
Probably the Persian empire originated from the Mycenaeans, Medians, Elamites, Assyrians & Babylonians.
