Thanks, Chris. That looks really interesting. Of course, it's going to be one of those books that has about 3 lines of really interesting stuff in it, and yet costs the earth! :)

I like the idea of the material on Bessus.

There is already a publication by Shaul Shaked, Le satrape de Bactriane et son gouverneur. Documents araméens du IVe s. avant notre ère. Conférences données au Collège de France, 14 et 21 mai 2003, « Persika » 4, de Boccard, 2004.

I was told it's just a booklet. But I'm quite sure the bigger one, Naveh & Shaked Ancient Aramaic Documents from Bactria, will have much more than "3 lines of really interesting stuff in it". The administration of Bactria during Darius III and Alexander's reign. I simply can't believe it.
