Persona And Charisma Crossing out Prejudice

Post by kennyxx »

I would like to raise the thought of charisma and and the way it crosses boundries and racial differences.

This thought came to me on Sunday when I watched the Motorcycle Racing on Sunday. We had the British Grand Prix and althought Valentino Rossi only came second. the winner became quite insignifiacant all the talk was about this Italian some bike fanatics call a god. and basically universally loved.

Although countries claim to hate or are jelous of The Americans. Elvis Presley is Universally loved. Princess Di was a Brit and the British are basically unliked but she was universally loved.

Now Alexander was a Macedonian a little known and may I be so bold as to say a poor country now yet through the Centuries this Alexander has been universally admired and to point this out the Romans didnt admire anyone yet the great Romans spoke highly of Alexander. I dont know what makes it or how its created but people as a rule see through predudice and still love the people with charisma. If that ingredient could be bottled I guess it would be priceless.
Even the religions started with people of charisma to begin with

Hello,

You are so right.
I love Peter Green's term regarding Alexander- "superhuman charisma" and that is what he must have had to inspire the boys to go on and on and on and on and on and on.

In the same way, Achilles - was no angel- yet in spite of the way he dealt with Hector in spite of all the bad things it was OK and he was adored because like you say, with these people- no matter what they do, it is just "magic".

Oh, if you could bottle that!! You'd make a fortune!!! 8) 8) 8) 8)
carpe diem
