It's been ages since I came last to this forum. I love the new format though, as the one we use at the Alexander the Great forum. I just want to invite all of you to join us in the discussion we are about to begin on the book of Plutarch "On the Fortune or Virtue of Alexander." We have recently finished with the discussion we held in our reading group about the Life of Alexander, by Plutarch, and we had commented before on the Anabasis of Alexander, by Arrian (at the Alexander the Man section of the forum).
I think it is important for all of us who are interested in the history of Alexander to come together at some times and share those interests. We are distributed along different forums (which perhaps reflect different tendencies as well, e.g. as we are all there fans of the movie Alexander
), but our interest in Alexander in common. Anyway, I hope to see some of you there and I also hope we can make other projects in common.
