ATG and Tibetan headress?

Post by claudia xander »

hello all,
just wondering if there may be any significance to the startling similarity between the priestly Tibetan headress and the helmets of the macedonian warrior elite. i'm highlighting in particular the fringed corinthian helmet and the cavalry phygrian cap style

Hmm you've got a point there. At least the top of the hats in the second link looks like the crest of the corinthian helmet. Budhism began from India as i remember so it is possible that indeed there was an influence by Alexander's conquests.I will dig a little bit more in to it and i will get back with more info
