National Geographic's documentary

Post by dean »

Hi,Was watching the national geographic documentary on Alexander the other day and found it to be quite interesting especially the section on more recent generals who have literally copied Alexander's tactis on the battlefield, Napoleon, Patton, etc, also the mention that Alexander's stategies are currently being studied at West Point. Also of course, to see our very own, Andrew Chugg talking about the Alexander's possible final resting place was great! All in all I was quite impressed with the short 1hr documentary.Best wishes and well done Andrew!!!Dean.

Thanks, Dean! Many of the images used in the National Geographic DVD are from my collection. You can find most of this collection on my website at http://www.alexanderstomb.comIt has been significantly expanded since I first announced it last month. There is a link to a BBC Radio 4 interview too.Best wishes,Andrew
