Issus Site?

Can anyone confirm for me that the site of the Issus battlefield is known with certainty? I have Michael Woods' DVD and book, in which he shows a specific site, with river, "slope down which Alexander charged," modern steel mill, etc. However, Peter Green's Alexander book seems to indicate a long-standing debate over the actual site, with at least two rivers being candidates for the Pinarus. Has recent scholarship firmly identified the site? Also, wouldn't artifacts be found on a battle site with so many combatants? Thanks....

Taking a detail from Maxwell O'Brien's book he says that the location is still in doubt although the sea was on one side, mountains on the other and the river Pinarus ran between the two- that is as far as we can get.
In almost every other book that I have it states that the location is still unknown and the subject of debate.Best regards,
