Archaeologists have discovered part of the throne of Darius (

The same article is now also online at
http://www.tehrantimes.com/Description. ... um=004What surprises me is the remark that "According to historical sources, the upper parts of the throne of Darius were been made of gold, silver, and ivory and its legs were made of lapis lazuli". Does anyone know which source is meant?Jona
