I've created an Alexander Shrine (http://www.freewebs.com/alexandershrine) and I was wondering if anyone know of some good links to put on it... also, please visit it and let me know what what you think!

Beryl, I've been trying to decide what to write here so that I don't sound like an old fogey. I read in a different thread that you are fifteen, and I see on your website that you have some very idealist ideas about Alexander - not that there is anything wrong with that: there are probably quite a few people here who discovered Alexander at a relatively young age and felt as you do, and there are certainly some people who feel that way today. Though my opinions of Alexander are a little more, shall we say, "objective," Alexander has continued to fascinate me throughout the years. I commend you for your work on your site and wish you success. The one thing I would strongly suggest is that you take the time to actually read *all* the books that you are recommending. If you are going to suggest that someone read a book, it's much better to have knowledge of it yourself. :-)Best regards,Linda Ann

Uh, yeah- what Linda said.
& it might be a good idea to remind your readers, Beryl, that some of the sites you've selected are full of b.s., too so don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Not trying to be negative, but the load of c**pola on the internet is getting deeper. SO why not take some time & visit the Pothos section on legends to start hetting a handle on some of this? Why continue to spread the bullpatty stuff?

Hi Beryl, I surely enjoyed your writings, and your new shrine to Alexander. Much good luck with it. Jan

Well, I guess my point in saying I hadn't read the books was that I'm not recommending them, I'm just listing them. Thank you for your input though, and I'm glad that you took the time to visit my Shrine :)

That's a good suggestion, I'll post something right away reminding people that not everything on those sites are true...Are there any that you consider to be particularly untrue? I'd love the input!
