ComingSoon.net has final trailer exclusive!
You can see the final trailer for the movie Alexander through Comingsoon.net. I used windows superhighresolution to get the best audio and video. I have mixed feelings about this trailer. It is full of sound and fury!

All right Jan, I watched the trailer and I don't have a clue where you're coming from.
I think it's much better than the first! Intriguing is the proper word for myself, especially the post rape scene with Olympias. If you think Alexander was one electric bundle of joy all the time I think you should prepare yourself for a major short-coming. But, to each his own. (and I'm not talking Charles Brackett)

I watched it several times, had to press the button in the lower right hand corner to get it from micro size to reasonable size, and then was finally able to see it really well. At that point, I began to like it. It had been all noise for awhile, but gradually I could see evidence of characters Philip, Olympias, and Alexander screaming at the top of his voice. I saw it again on Saturday Night Live last night only by that version much of the throaty Alexander had been cut out of the scenes for t.v.Interesting at what a single trailer can do. Some of it was repetitive, with same photos of elephants and horses facing off. As to what I expect from this movie? So far, nothing. If he had only used Alexander's mentally deficient brother to tell the tale, I would have sworn it could have been a ripoff of Faulkner's Sound of Fury. Maybe Faulkner had Alexander's brother in mind for the part of Benjy, a character in a book I very much love.I must admit I liked the emphasis on Angelina Jolie. She is compelling as Olympias. I only hope that this is not the last we see a movie on the Macedonian King and his famous mother.Somebody gave me a film starring Val Kilmer called Willow. It is pretty interesting too! I like VKN.com for info on Alexander too.
