'Memnon' Book

Hi All,Well, since we're all sharing our good news, I guess it's my turn. 'Memnon', my second novel, has been accepted by my publisher, Medallion Press, Inc. (http://www.medallionpress.com). It will be released in hardcover in June of 2006. Why the long lead time? Well, I sold it to them based on 4 chapters and a detailed synopsis They will be releasing my first book, 'Men of Bronze', in June 2005. I'll be at the Book Expo America tradeshow in NYC that month, if there are any local Pothosians who are planning to attend. I guess now, Nick, you can update my entry on the website :)Thanks for the moment of your time, and congrats to Jona and Ruth, again, too!Scott Oden

Scott, that's great news! and as I've had the privilege of reading chapter one I know what an interesting story it's going to be. You are so lucky to get it accepted at this early stage. I haven't tried to market mine as yet since the time the Greek publisher offered me a contract but wanted me to pay vast amounts of US cash to subsidise the publication. (Like I'm rich,eh??)
So knowing the publishing business this is definitely a plus for you. And also congrats on the book that is soon to be released. Cheers, Ruthaki
