The persian Boy

I-¦m deeply in love with Alexander-¦s History. And i think that the persian boy it-¦s one of the most beautiful books i-¦d ever read. The history between Bagoas and Alexander let us know that Alexexander wasn-¦t a cruel warrior he had feelings, a very beautiful ones.

I agree that Mary Renault's triology about Alexander is quite an excellent read (although I was deeply disappointed in Funeral Games). The first book, Fire From Heaven is by far the best of the three. Remember, though, she is a historical fiction writer (I am too, and I"m writing about the period following Alexander's death -- the time of the Funeral Games book). She has used historical facts and woven them into the fiction, but she does a good job of it.
