Belaskinani or Belikozhi as well.You are right when you say it's easier for you to read my texts, I still don't have a clue on how your alphabet works with all the accents on the latin letters.Here are some more easy ones you know: VODA - water vodeno - watery/wet), BRAT - brother, SESTRA - sister, STOY - stay, MAZH - man, ZHENA - woman(have you seen this written as xena or gena - [the xena woman warrior/princess/zhena ha ha] - it depends on which alfabet you use). All of these words i'm sure are known in Poland and I know they are spoken in other places. I've been reading the Pothos forum for over 5 years (posting very rarely in that time) and no, it has never been mentioned. Mirnos
As for me You even could write it with no translation... It's almost polish. I participate in here from just two years but also not posting too much. Well not too much time but I like to read it very much. It gave me a lot great ideas and different points of views. Well but my opinion about unification plans of ATG had never changed ) Regards

Hi Maciek,Yes in 2 years you have done well to get into the Pothos hall of fame of contributors. It indicates you know your sources. There has been some fantastic reading here over the years especially early on, lots of good information and insightful discussion at times, some great contributors. Too bad those posts are not stored. There was also a time years ago when this forum was (can u believe it) very quiet. It's ludo with kravi and vouloi at times now as u see but still some good things are posted now and then.
O thank You! I never herd such nice words. Well here are people with great knowledge (like Marcus or Susan) and they have huge contribution in the forum but thanks very much for that compliment!
The sources are very importamd for me. I give much more credibility to ancient books then many today's historians which books I had read. Regards

You are welcome Bratko, and you are correct the sources give the clearest picture for everyone and that is where the action is. Historians give us their interpretations of the hand me down translations with "their styles" they do get the outline right but ignore other vital detail as it suits them. You are in a special position in that you know some Makedonski and are able to recognize it where it occurs and deterine if it is relevant. eg one question here by chris yesterday asked about some slave, Greek - Melissa, and reading some replys we hear of aromas..well, maybe that should read as "MeRissa" which means one who is scented/smelly in Makedonski(also merizmo, merisajne and the harsher smerde), maybe it's the same in Polish too. You can also study the Latin souces from a Makedonski etc. linguistic POV. There is a lot there let us know when you find something. Cheers.
I had got from Susan and Yannis some materials in macedonski or serbian maybe but it was too hard for me (maybe the alphabet make it harder). Maybe I'll send it to You by e-mail and You could translate it for all of us. These are some pieces of romances about Alex so it can be very interesting. Especially the part about last days of Alex.

Woa thank you that would be interesting to see but it soulds like a big job and my cyrillic is not good, any Macedonian educated in Macedonia would be able to do it easily, or if you think it's Serbian then get a Serbian to translate. The romances do not inspire me much, Q.C.R., Dio, et al are the original texts I would like to see. Do you know if they are around on a URL for viewing anywhere?
It's great that Susan contacted with You because I haven't those texts in my work and for this weekend I'll go to Warsaw to my studies... Well I'm very interesting what is in those texts.Regards

Hi Maciek,Thanks for your concern, all ok now, and I'd like to thank Susan here for those texts. They are in the basic everyday village dialect of Macedonian. I read just one piece that caught my eye in the middle and I thought of Alexander when it said he was dehyreating badly towards the end. When you work out the script you will see.Zdravo
