Hi Marcus, I realize it is probably not a pleasant task as board monitor to get caught in the frenzy of this debate.I agree that modern politics regarding the Macedonian issue is annoying and side tracks the central focus. However when Lazar and others keep bringing up the FYROM position and use nationalistic sites that are biased and way out of wack with main stream scholarship and hard evidence it is very hard not to react strongly particularly if one has northern Greek heritage.I promise not to intitiate the subject and would support deleting posts of those who start the threads. You have been a good objective voice of reason on the board and are very well versed on the subject. Reagards, Dimitrios

Hi Dimitrios,I am well aware that I am in a great position, being neither Greek nor Macedonian, so it is very easy for me to ignore these posts. Even as I wrote that I knew it was very easy for me to say, much more difficult for those who are 'closer' to turn a blind eye.Actually, I'm not a moderator, so I don't have the power to delete posts even if I wanted to. I think I'm happier that way, too!Thank you for your kind comments! All the bestMarcus

Do you have a clue for what you're trying to say? For I don't.
