I'm sure you've probably most of you have been to this website but thought it was quite informative. Was quite happy with this map though, as i've always found it difficult to find any details about what towns and villages he went through. http://www.macedonia.info/expeditionmap.htm

That's a pretty good map. I'm not sure whether I've seen it before (if I have, it was a year or two ago).The biggest problem is that you can't get all the detail on one single map. That's why I've always liked the maps in books like Bosworth's "Conquest & Empire", because they focus in on smaller areas. This is particularly useful in the less well known areas of the empire, such as Baktria and Sogdia.All the bestMarcus
