Re: MACEDONIAN KINGS
Actually, while Antipater exercised control over Macedon and Greece proper, he never took the title of King. That was held jointly by Philip III Arrhidaeus and Alexander IV. At first Cassander did not dare to call himself King - in fact for a few years after murdering Alexander's son, he continued to sign the boy's name. The last 'true' King of Macedon was the last Argead of the male line - Alexander IV.

Re: MACEDONIAN KINGS
Does Philip Arrhidaios not deserve a place in the king list? I notice that Philip III is cited as being one of the 3rd century kings, so I assume that Arrhidaios was 'excised' from the list at some point. All the bestMarcus
Re: MACEDONIAN KINGS
BE SERIOUS! I MAKE AGAIN A QUESTION : DOES DARIUS III WAS THE LEGAL KING OF PERSIA? ASK AND THEN WE WILL DISCUSS.
Re: MACEDONIAN KINGS
DON'T FORGET THAT THE LAST GREEK STATE WAS IN AFGHANISTAN AND PART OF INDIA AND CHINA UNTIL 50A.B. MACEDONIA WAS CONQUERED IN 168B.C. HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT PHILLIP ARRHIDAIOS WAS THE LAST KING? WHO WAS THE KING UNTIL 168B.C?

Re: MACEDONIAN KINGS
Er... I never said that Arrhidaios was the last king. I pointed out that he appears to be missing from the list and wondered whether there was a reason for that. And PLEASE stop using capitals. All the bestMarcus

Re: MACEDONIAN KINGS (additional note)
Anyway, Antipater was never king of Macedon. It was only in 306, after Alexander IV was declared to be dead, that the various generals started to call themselves kings. All the bestMarcus
