i believe that the most courageous war was the one in plataies greece against mardonios where Pausanias won.What do you believe?

It's hard to say, certainly, WWI where the boys had to run headlong into machine gun fire day in and day out must be up there with the most harrowing conditions in human experience. Absolutely horrible!

How about Leonidas, and the spartan 300, at Thermopylae?Overwhelming odds, the opportunity to withdraw but the choice to stay, fight, and die for the greater good.Just imagine what impact it had on the Persians when, having struggled to overcome 300 spartans, they faced the full spartan army at Platea!Now that was courage and self sacrifice above and beyond the call of duty!!!regardsKit
