In that chapter, you will find very interesting artical about Alexander and his deeds, but more than that, you will find written that:... when Israel went together hand in hand with Antioch (Antioch- Syria under Makedonian Dinasty), Israel strated to grow. .. But Makiavei and his brothers, followers, went to Zion and from them were agains all, including Israeli who were with Antioch... So in other words, Makedonians were always builders for bridges between peoples and cutures, civilisations, and today is fact again! So, there are many more things, but even you do not like somone, for some reson, you should show some respect for his noble deeds, and Alexander has many, appart of few who are aginst them with purpose!........

DEAR POLIKSENA,...After haveing "chat" with you, I notice that you have written "not idealize" him, and you are speaking about persons!?...... I am deeply sory for my reply, but it was very meak compered with what you are saying. Nobody is idolizing no one, only FOOLS are idolizing somone today! Showing respect to man/woman, who gave somthing spetial and visionery to mankind, is almost opposite of what you are talking about here. Do you know that Alexander was most respectfull man on this planet even until today! How, well it is very simple to answer. Today, for the sake of truth (you should came out of your "cocoon" and open your eye's what is happening in the real world, not only internet!!!!!!), in same regions of the world, life has no meaning at all, in some parts of the world human life is worth less than a 10 gr. of beans,..., on the other hand - Alexander in His Greatness had compassion and respect toward everyone- as a person and/or as a institution! After conquering Persia, i.e., after war, King Darius of Persia was murdered bruttaly by Persians from his own guard, after what Alexander went to catch those cawards!!! He chased them and finaly got them arround today Afganistan. Even than, he in his Greatness, He shown respect asking them:...how they want to die becouse of killing their King,...They said... as Greatest! So He put them on the stake/wood, saying that they are Greater than Him...! Going back, He shown respect towards Royal family, and even more than that, He, Himself become member of Persian Royal family, nobody was murdered as one would expect, contrary- all of them had all respect as royals!!! It was same with Kings of India, Kasmir/Nashmir etc. There were mass weadings between various cultures, religions, ..., with respect toward everyone...!...... So my dear Poliksena, where come this "sick" feeling of Alexander being murderer etc., when you know that even Filip of Makedon started negotiations with Athens, Corinths, Persians, and same was with Alexander, but after all initiative for dialogue and peacifull solutions being held on Makedonin initiative, and after failing- the war was inevitalbe, as it is today somewhereelse, unfortunatelly and very sad! I must admit here, that while Makedonia was under Ottoman Empire rule, most of the Makedonian uprissing's were unsucsesfull, but most of the time, Turks generals has shown very high respect towards Makedonians with all millitary style respect becouse of Makedonian courage, and that make lot of difference! Their respect towards Makedonians came directly from the knowledge they come from ancient dieries from Byzant i.e. Constantinopol, today Istanbul in Turkey,in Makedonian it was/ is CARIGRAD, CAR=TCAR, i.e. CITY OF TZARS, MAKEDONIAN TZARS!!!)... Nobody wants war, but when it is innevitable, than respect towards ennemies, spetially towards innocent citizents/ civilians , than full respect and care of their safety is priority! Unfortunatelly this is on paper only, hopfully until World Court of Justice ...!
Alexander was the first who was showing that respect, and that is fundament in citizen/civilian rights and dignity today! So even today, Alexander is example how to respect enemies in the war, if that is innevitable, after failing negotiations, dialogue etc. Take a look on the world and wars now, take a look on a missery's and ethnic cleansing, civilian cassulties, take a look at the true mirror of the world and try compare that with the true face of Alexander, 2000 years ago,... no my dear friend, there is absolutelly no connection, but there is initiative and example how to treat with respect your enemies in the case of war, and that respect, with many other achivments are comming directly from Alexander Himself, even it was war,( the most miserable thing that was invented by man, just for making money- JUST WAR STRATEGY, with absolutely no excuse, no justification and no future...even comming from USA, see CHOMSKY book- INTERVIEWS AFTER 9/11, and STATE TERORISM- same book/ one and first example Greek Civil War= same book,), ....On the end, even there is too much to debate, the conclussion is only one: Alexander has no subject in any field to be compred with, not than, not now not in the near future. On the end, even there is too much to debate, the conclussion is only one: Alexander has no subject in any field to be compred with, not than, not now not in the near future. Hi Vasko,I respect your point of view and althought I would like to believe in this "perfection" I really don't. Obviously we have different understanding of what a "saint" is. Today is the day when Mother Tereza is proclaimed as "Blissful" and we all agree that she is everything what you said about ATG in your 4 messages. So, she didn't kill anyone, she didn't make any war, she didn't requested "proskynesis", she didn't destroy any city or institution or land ..... nothing of that kind... and that's why she is "Blissful". She was one very modest person, full of love for everyone (bad or good, poor or rich, enemy or friend)... and can you tell me that we can compare Alexander and Mother Tereza??? No! Yes..."GODS PATH'S ARE INVISIBLE/UNKNOWN.." and we will never know why some particularly bad thing is so god for us... but, I would like to ask you sth.: as a Macedonian what do you really feel about Alexander the Great. Yes, he was invincible, an excellent commander and tactician, an excellent leader and initiator... but, on the other side... a very bad king. The name of Alexander the Great is known everywhere but, what happened with his kingdom? He used his kingdom and his people for his personal glory and he succeeded, but Macedon lost its security, its independence, its power, its Argead blood. Don't you think sometimes what would have happened if....??? And where would have been Macedonia now if.... and so on....??? Dear Poli,You are right... ... One use to say: "...I am afraid of fools who are able to destry avrything and anything for second which was build by thousands honest people for thousands of years...", so was I and maybe Alexander, and many like him... The problem with humans is that they want to search for some/any mistake and blame others, and not ask themself vice versa, i.e. to search for mistke's in themself, or at least ask how they wuold feel if there were in oneother place/position...... However, nowdays, everything is much brighter and, even you have the point, (most people are telling me that I am too optimistic, and even when I am loosing, on the end I am somhow the winner, maybe because of unconditional aproach towards all),
I think that world is slowly heading that way, ...on the sunny side of the street...!Yes is hard, is taking time, but things are happening. Dear Vasko,I agree with you about this aspect of human's nature "search for other people's mistakes and always blame the others for your own misery" But, this is typical for a spiritually "blind" people - they don't want to see who they really are, maybe because they are afraid of their true nature or maybe because they are afraid to admit they are wrong.... But, I don't understand what do you want to refer to? Do you refer to my conclusion about the Macedonians, to my questions or to sth. else? You said you've been told to be "too optimistic" but, I don't think so. There is a difference between an optimist and an illusionist. The first one is not "blind" and he can see the reality, he can make a distinction between good and bad, positive and negative... but, he always believes in the better future.
The second one is "blind" or maybe wearing "pink sunglasses" and he can't see the bad things or actions. He is not an optimist and he doesn't have a need to believe in the better future because, according his own view, everything is so perfect. Bearing in mind your "perfect" picture about our hero (ATG), I'm free to believe that you are an illusionist. So, my point is - you need to see everything and everybody from every perspective, good and bad. This is the human's nature and when we will be able to see the real "angels" and "demons" inside us, than we can understand everything more clearly and maybe, we can accelerate "our steps" to a better mankind. Bearing in mind all your "debates" with other members from this Forum, I can immagine why you've understood this "comparison" from the "dark" side, but still... if this means sth to you I really don't have any negative picture about you. And if I ever had it, I would have stoped my conversation with you as I've done with some "negative" tuned people here. I really don't know your personality and my comment refered only to your "perfect" picture about ALEXANDER OF MACEDON. That's all. I very much regret having given you cause for "thinking this way", but everything you refered to makes me think that you've understood me wrong. Well, concerning how you've been described by the others as "...without people like me (you) this world would stop..." I can say that whosoever told you this, he/she gave you a compliment. Why? Because it's clear stated that the people like you "make the world live" or that "you give this world a reason to live" or "without people like you this world will end in darkness" or sth similar... but, still positive.
