Homeward Bound

Post by ruthaki »

Hello friends, I'm heading back to Canada tomorrow, Sept 8. after a wonderful summer in Greece. I've revisited all the Alexander sites and the tombs(and this time got to see Mieza!)as well as a trip to Turkey to see a bit more of the territory he passed through there. Just completed another travel-writing tour around the southern Peloponnese to check out Venetian castle sites. It's been a terrific adventure. So I'll be back here soon taking part in discussions etc. Cheers,
jan

Hi Jan, thanks. Anything specific you want to know about? The visit to Aristotle's school was one of the highlights. Also revisiting the tombs and seeing the new museum. We were lucky as they closed it after that for 'renovations'. They are adding some more of the grave finds.
