Alexander Books in dutch?

Hi,The last few month's I became verry intrested by Alexander The Great and evertthing that comes with it. NowI'm trying to find some fine books (non-fiction) about his life in Dutch.I've already read the translation of Arrians work,
the books of Valerio Massimo Manfredi,
the faboules book written by R.L.Fox and also
"the leadership of Alexander the great" by Kets De Vries and Elisabet Engellau.Are there any dutch (or belgian) people why can advise me some other dutch books about Alexander?Thank you beforehand,

There isn't that much - but the major problem I think is that many Dutch translations are just abominable to read. I tend to stick to English books, in general...Apart from the Arrian translation there is this book "Avonturen van Alexander de Grote" translated from the Romance by Patrick de Rynck. I must say his notes etcetera contain some minor errors, e.g. indicating that Philip conquered cities in the Greek Pelopponese long before Chaeronea. (Just a confusion of topographical names, really.)Louis Couperus has written a very decent Alexander novel "Iskander" in the 1920s - still great fun to read and perhaps one of the monumental works in Dutch literature.Jona Lendering (http://www.livius.org) is working at a new Alexander work at the moment, but I don't know in which stage it is now. Please contact Jona through livius.org.There is a nice book on Ancient Persia written by late scholar Heleen Sansici-Weerdenberg which can still be found in many libraries around the country.Best regards, veel groeten -

Hi Nick,Thanks for your advice. Looking at the quantity of dutch books written about this subject, can't we just say there is a great lack on Dutch books about Alexander?
