Some iffy bits in this - treat with caution. For example, Caranus was not Attalus's brother (misreading of the text). Cleopatra (as far as we know) wasn't pregnant when Olympias murdered her. Even if she were, although we are told she had given birth a few days before Philips' assassination, no one would have known it was a male child.
Philip's father, Amyntas III (not II), probably wasn't murdered by Eurydike and Ptolemy of Alorus, and not after discovering them in bed together. Eurydike appears to have been treated with honour. Philip had two rivals to contend with at the beginning of his reign, Pausanias (not Paeus) and Argeaus, who may have been distant cousins, but not first cousins.
