Hi all
Just before I cast my vote....

The msueum in the link above was closed for 8 years for renovation purposes. Needlsess to talk about the importance of the artifacts it pays host to, most from Minoan Crete. Among those are some I haven't seen myself: The tied mythological dog, the youths running and the incredible board game which seems to me quite complex. I will not go into any disk of Phaestus details, an artifact that predates Lineral I.
Bibliography: The bull from the sea and the King must die by Marry Renault.!!!
Best to all

Re: The new Heraklion city museum, Crete.
Thank you for posting beautiful photos! I'm glad the Heraklion city museum is now open again; I visited it twice some years ago and I was amazed by its contents. I remember very well a museum attendant, a lady, who looked a lot like the lady painted in a Minoan fresco called 'La Parisienne': I wished to photograph her, but I was shy, and I didn't nerve myself to ask her , but she was really like a beautiful Minoan woman with large eyes and a typical nose, a bit humped!
