That was really nice answer!! Susan Thanks a lot!! I wonder who's Alexander and Hephaestion are fans.. Who their will support, I think US and Hussain should make saccrifices because Alexande's support can be importand in this war.

Maybe we as a forum should set up as military advisers and commentators, and get ourselves a virtual sandtray to show how Alexander would advise moving troops around. I expect the basics are much the same.I can't imagine going to the Pentagon and saying.. " There's this long-dead king and he's telling you your troops are in the wrong place".Susan

he he I think they would imprison You as a spy or just send to hospital for some seriouse psyhical examinations...Susan is Your son also interested in history?

Yes, he is, also in Alexander - he took the photos inside the mosque of Nebi Daniel that are on the poll on the front page of this site, and he went to Siwah. He is going to the University of Durham to read Middle Eastern studies later this year. His interest is in Central Asia too.Susan
