Hi Amir,I don't know what the convention was at weddings - I don't know whether *anyone* knows, in fact.But I think it was when Philip was walking into the theatre at his daughter's wedding that he had Alexander on his right (until he told him to stay back so he could walk the last few yards on his own - unfortunately for him), rather than at his own wedding feast. Don't forget that these were separate occasions.But perhaps I misunderstood the question...All the bestMarcus

Hi Marcus Yes I think I did not make my question clear enough.
I wasrefering to the wedding occasion of Philip and Cleopatra. When Alexander was offerd by Philip to sit on his right side. Alexander than says Thanks and hopes that he can also invite philip to his mothers wedding !! this is the occasion that attalus makes his toast.
I just wanted to know if I can have cleopatra in these pictures on philips left as all this story was unfolding.
Maybe its not such a important point, but I want my comic to be as accurate as possible.ThanksAmir

Ah, I get what you are asking, now.I still don't know for sure, but I have always been under the impression that the feast in question was a men-only affair. It certainly was later on, when the drinking started.All the bestMarcus
