HelloI am trying to find out the owner of the an image found at:http://www.hackneys.com/alex_web/graphics/alxarm.jpgThe website owner does not know who it is. Has anyone seen this image and is there a credit for it. We want to use in on our website and would like to give it proper attribution.Thanks

I am not sure where it comes from,, but suspect that is a Roman Statue. I could be wrong, it certainly looks Roman. Try looking in the Roman museum under statues listing.Just a suggestion. Most museums have catalogue listings and are pretty helpful.

Hi Dave,It definitely looks Roman, and I suspect that, if it is, it's relatively late - ie. 2nd or 3rd century AD. But I'm not an art history expert so I could be wrong.But I did wonder also whether it is, in fact, Renaissance...Marcus

That was priceless John. And yes, I agree that statue certainly looks Roman to me.
