Re: venni vetti vecci - Monty Python!
I like it, I like it alot. Have not seen that episode of Monty Python. Caesar had plenty of time to die, I think they stabbed him about 70 times with small daggers. Nasty stuff. As I mentioned before it was the done thing to say something smart when dying. So Kai Su Teknon was pretty cool. I don' t believe he said vrute or Brute for that matter. Brutus knew who he meant. Caesar had had a long affair with his mum and had age not been against her may have married her. Brutus was like Caesar son. Enough, Enough Back to Alexander. Sorry if I was a bit short the other day in my posting. I was a bit cranky pants with work.

Sorry, Yiannis, you did indeed ask that.I haven't seen any of the Python films for ages, but I assume it's "Life of Brian" - can't think of any other one that has an execution in it!Marcus
Re: venni vetti vecci - Monty Python!
It's Baron Minchauzen and come to think about it's not all the Python members that are participating. So technically it's not a "real" Monty Python movie!regards,
Yiannis

Re: venni vetti vecci - Monty Python!
Ah, Yiannis, you got me there. But it certainly isn't a Python film, although it was directed by Terry Gilliam and Eric Idle was in it.People also tend to think that "Jabberwocky" is a Python film because Gilliam directed it, Michael Palin starred in it, and Terry Jones is in it, too (and I think he co-wrote it). Same goes for Time Bandits...Anyway, that's rather off the point, isn't it?
Back, as Nick would say, to Alexander...All the bestMarcus
