Why do you think that Alexander listened to the old guard and turned back to Babylon and didnt go further into India and China, while he could have continued with his newly arrived macedonians and the 100.000 well trained persians?
Because:
a)He really loved the old guard and cared about them so he decided that he would not continue without them.
b)He heard that there was a huge Indian army waiting for him deep inside India and decided not to take the chance of losing his army.
c)He was afraid that some people of the old guard would assasinate him because they were discontent.
d) (a) and (c) together.
e)Other (Describe it)
And another small poll would be:
What did the egyptian priest really said to Alexander at the temple of Ammon when he welcomed him?
a)Xaire paidios (hail or welcome - boy)?
b)Xaire pai Dios (hail or welcome - sone of Zeus)?
or
c)None of the above, just "Xaire" or just "Xaire Alexandre" ?
And another one:
Was Alexander:
a)a simple mortal man?
b)a demi-god?
c)an incarnation of an extraterrestrial?
e)Both b and c if we assume that the ancient greek gods were extraterrestrials?
