Crypt of Nabi Daniel

Post by susan »

Hi, Just to let you know that my son went to Friday prayers in the crypt of the Nabi Daniel Mosque in Alexandria yesterday, probably very close to where Alexander was buried, if the traditions are true. Susan

Yes, it's very satisfying for me to feel that I've been able to pass on my fascination with Alexander to my son, so that he has known about this rich heritage of history and legend since he was a child. He's been to Siwa and is now on his way to Syria - Central Asia is the ultimate goal but probably not for a few years.

Hello Susan, I totally agree- I have two children- a daughter 6 yrs old and a baby boy- three months old. I live in Spain so I hope to be able to first teach them both English- but also of course to pass on the pages from history that I have learnt. Best regards, Dean.
