Ancient Warriors produced by the Learning Channel
I have found a statue that I have never seen before. It was shown at the end of the Macedonian section of the Classic Warriors, a television study of Ancient Warriors on the Learning Channel. There is a statue of Alexander wearing an Olympian type helmet, with his eyes appearing wide-eyed, his mouth open slightly, and a to waist only shot of this particular statue. Does anyone know of this statue as I have never seen it any of the books, websites, etc. and it was a first for me. I would like to know where it is now located if anyone knows. The Macedonian section features Coenus as the central character with whom we follow Alexander's trail across the Persian empire. Coenus is selected because he is the heroic personage who finally confronts Alexander after the monsoons of India have defeated the men's valor and courage, and now want to return to Macedonia. At this point in the narrative, two statues of Alexander are shown, the unknown to me, and the more familiar Lysippos copy with the name Alexandros imprinted on it.If there is a picture of the unknown statue on the web, I would like to know where to find it. Thanks in advance.

HI, I have never seen a colored statue but that would be extraordinary. I hope you find it and the one that I am trying to find too. I tried to copy it on paper last night while watching the t.v. but I can't do it justice, and I did check at Learning Channel to see what I could find there. Nada! Nothing. The movie was made in 1994, so you would think that they would have something.
