after the battle of issus

Post by RJ »

Hi... I read on the internet
on this site....... http://www.carpenoctem.tv/military/alex.html
that after the battle of issus......darius fled and Alexander gave the captured persians and the hired mercenaries a chance to switch sides and join forces with him.....than be executed
now im doing an essay on him.....and this is the only place that i read this....i have issued books out on him....yet i can never find this in any of the books....i thought this would be a good point proving his practicality for my essay...
so if any of you guys think its true... can you tell me with more detail and if there is a more reliable soure where this is written in
Thanks!
