I have seen the descriptions and the directions for them. But, has anyone here ever hand made a linen corslet????In coming May I'm going to make this my personal pet project, and I would like some advice! :0)Thanks!Luc

Hi Lucian,My daughter made a corset for her A-level Textiles project. It had boning and laces so although it was pretty and decorative I suspect the construction techniques were similar. If you like, I can ask her to suggest some reference books for you or to give you some advice - she is home from university next week.Cheers,Kate

I have a lovely vision (or maybe not so lovely) of Lucian attempting to look like a warlike Macedonian warrior, but ending up in a whalebone corset and petticoats ... Still, it was good enough for Achilles, at the court of Lycomedes ...ATBMarcus
