Nidin-B+¬l

Post by jona »

I have put online two Babylonian documents on the Hellenistic chronology of Babylon: the so-called Babylonian King List and the Uruk King List. They don't offer very special information (most of it has already found its way to handbooks), but the Uruk King List mentions a mysterious, otherwise unknown ruler named Nidin-B+¬l, who appears to have been an insurrectionist in 336/335 BCE. His rebellion, and the better-known revolts of Khababash of Egypt and Artashata of Armenia, paved the way for Alexander the Great.http://www.livius.org/k/kinglist/babylo ... istic.html
