I wouldn't be too rough on Oliver Stone yet, as I think he is very sincere in his desire to do his best work yet on behalf of Alexander. I have been reading a couple of bio's on OS and his interest in Alexander is very real. I have had some extraordinary experiences of my own regarding this subject area, and I am convinced now that Oliver Stone is genuinely a part of the experience too. I just bet this movie will probably be more than just a piece of entertainment. I believe it is a debt paid for honors rendered.

FolksI think were all getting a bit too pescimistic here,I agree with Jan.Ill go without expectencies and give Oliver Stone the benefit of the doubt,its fair to say that Stone does admire Alexander and is a great director.Lets give the guy a chance before we turn purist.regardskenny

The fact that he has Robin Lane Fox as a consultant on the film made me more hopeful. And also the fact that Stone usually makes pretty good movies. I just picked up a copy of the Premier Magazine. Haven't read the article yet, but it looks quite interesting and there are some good photos. I had my doubts about Val Kilmer as Philip but in the photo he at least 'looks' okay in the role. So who knows til we see it?

Having a consultant doesn't mean he's gonna listen to that person.
I think the movie's gonna suck *just* because it's got Colin farrel in it. And then it may suck for other reasons as well.
