Hello,
I am afraid I have never seen Alexander's name written like that. Could you give a little more info as to where you saw this spelling?Best regards,
Dean.

I have never seen this name before. I do know the following variants:Iskander (Arabian): accepting the Latin name Alexander and reading it as Al-Iskander ("al" = the)Iskender: Turkish variant on IskanderIskander Gujaste or Guzastag (Farsi): "Alexander the Accursed".Sikander-e-Azam (Urdu): "Alexander, ruler of the world"I am not claiming to render these names correctly; perhaps someone is able to improve these readings.Jona
