Different poster

Post by amyntoros »

I think that the image on the website may have been used only while the movie was in production as there is another poster which is already being offered on Ebay - the same one as is shown on this website:
http://www.alexander-the-great.co.uk/al ... poster.htm And there is a bigger image at:http://www.impawards.com/2004/alexander.html Best regards,

This is the new official one. It's only recently been added to the WB website. It would be the one they send to the theaters way in advance of the film to announce it's coming. It may change again of course, before the movie is actually released. That would be typical.

Okay - my fault - I didn't click on the link. Duh! You're right in that they may change the final poster. The first promo poster for Last Of The Mohicans just had a body shot of Daniel Day Lewis in character and the headline "He is coming." I remember seeing the posters on the subway and wondering what the hell that was all about. :-)Linda Ann

In my younger and less wise days when I was in college, I worked at a multiplex during the summers and all kinds of promo stuff would be sitting around the lobby. The promo poster was usually posted inside well ahead of the release date and it was almost never the final one that came out with the movie.
