Alexanders Trail

Post by Mo Middleton »

I am thinking on embarking on following Alexanders route in Greece and Turkey... I have read Arrian, Plutarch, and am trying to decide where particularly i should visit? (any suggestions)I am in my Gap Year so only have maybe 3 weeks so i want to pick and choose the best places to visit. I was just hoping for any suggestions or advice?
Thankyou Mo Middleton

If you've time, read the Freya Stark books - Alexander's Path & the Lycian Shore - for ideas for Turkey. For Greece - I suppose that Vergina is a must.Susan
