Technically, probably not, because he was well aware that there were plenty of 'worlds' that he hadn't yet conquered.There's a really good section on this site about the (in)famous quote, the result of long discussions held on this forum. No-one appears to be able to locate the source of the quote (and, indeed, the only time I've ever actually heard it was when it was quoted by Alan Rickman's character in "Die Hard" - there's intellectualism for you!).All the bestMarcus

He had lots to conquor. He could have kept on going across India and onto the Silk Road if his army hadn't mutinied. And apparantly he was planning to go into North Africa (Carthage) had he not died.
