Hello all,

A little while ago my little nephew showed me his latest acquisition concerning Pompeii (volcanoes and Pompeii are his current fixation - oh to be 7 years old again!); it was one of a series entitled "Avoid being ..." (followed by a particular period in history). I noticed at the time that there was one related to Alexander, and finally got a copy of it a few days ago.

It's really rather good! Here's the Amazon page for the book.

yes yes I have to say on this one ..
by the way .. hehe ... which of the modern "empires " does the
propaganda on "avoid being on Alexander´s army " ... hummm

I would and indeed agree with the idea , I would say as about
education to children, avoid being despotic, tyrant , and all defects
which even Alexander the Great had ..
now again how many modern empires would not want some empire
by some Alexander due to his particular point of view , on "respect
for even the poor " wasn´t it ??
I personally don´t vote for a single tyrant in this 21 st century world
but what the heck Alexander the Great would have been much better
today , still a man was , had some great doings in excess but what have
we to say on his really noble ideals ? no he was not just money for
the certain class society and leaving the rest to the dam bad karma am sure .
