Why is it some authors spell this senior officer's name different? I have seen it, as I'm sure all of you have also, spelled either Parmenion or Parmenio. What is the different and why is there the difference?

Is Parmenio the Latinized version?
Like Apollon vs. Apollo?

But the correct is Parmenion, which is the ancient Greek, except for the sounding. The ancient Greek is pronounced on the "i", and the "e" is like in "the".
