Would Porthonians and History judge Differently

Post by jasonxx »

Just out of point of interest and relating to some of the more brutal Conquerers that have lived.

If Alexander were in the same mould as maybe the Monghuls. Destroyed Athens or any city that stood against him. Left no enemies alive. Yet at the same time lived longer and created an empire as big as the Monghuls. Would Porthonians opinions of Alexander change or is it the relative heroic and lenient side that draws us or some porthonians to him?

Or would some have an even higher respect or admiration for him? I would guess mostPorthonians would change the perspective that they maybe have now. Would any one change the Alexander that we have?

I would prefer a more definate guy that took no crap from any one and put his foot down a little more solidly but each to there own.

No second chances por the little theiving snake Harpalus. demosthenese would have at least his tongue cut out to stop him yapping his stupid gob off and indeed the naughty satraps upon his return would have got what they got anywhere. There would have to be one daddy and thats Alexander.
