Thank you so much. BTY, since I am sure there are other Alexander forums and websites, do you know of any others? (It is not that I don't want to start my own, interested, but I know how much work it is to run a forum, I only do webmaster stuff on top of work to support my coin collection, buying lifetime Philips and Alexander's and it is not a cheap thing to save for several of my kids college at the same time...) Nonetheless, while I appreciate you sticking up for me, I think I need to start over, for even when I try to be polite, I can't get a lot of decent feedback. I learn most from others who do not share my views (can't learn from someone who believes everything you beleive). Plus, being still relatively know to ATG studies, need some ground work before I just leave forum life altogether to fly on my own...any other sites or forums you know would be great, I would rather just study...Thanks so much too for the links, perfect.

I have to say, Bob, that I don't really know any other discussion groups or forums. I know there are others, but I don't frequent them - time only really permits me to get involved with one of these, and even then my involvement is rather uneven at the moment. I've been a 'Pothosian' for about 4 years, so I suppose I'm rather part of the furniture (and when I was looking at what Alexander sites there were, way back when, it was the one that appealed to me most).Because of my particular time issues, I haven't really been able to follow all the threads you've started, or been involved in, so I can't really comment on the quality of the feedback you've been getting. But there are many knowledgeable people on Pothos, so I wouldn't give up on us yet! Problem is, people tend to have their own specialisms or areas of interest even within Alexander studies - I would venture to say that things like the Macedonian language (and ethnicity), because there is so little to go on, doesn't get much attention compared with other topics. And, as you have seen(!), these issues get rather emotive.ATBMarcus

I agree, but I can study that one topic on my own. I will be starting a Macedonian origins yahoo chat group for now. Thing is I want to keep off the modern political debate on that forum too, and you are right, they get emotive. Thanks for everything.
