Companions,We hear of Alexander being informed in India of the Chinese that lay to the East. Given it is, literally speaking, part of the Old World, how come it never entered the Old World Sphere? I mean, we have the Greco-Persian situation. Was there any interaction between Indo-China?Were the Himalayas a natural boundary? This has limited argument given the causeway created by the Persians that ran from Babylon into the East. How much trade between Indo-China was there approx. 4th. C B.C.?Regards,
Atha

Atha,We do have some evidence of western people visiting and trading with China as early as 900 b.c.e. (From a corpse, found in China, of a white man...quite well preserved). Nicator
