Can anyone tell me which Greek civilization is associated with this war? i.e...Minoan, Myceneaen or something else?

Mycenean. From the Peloponnese. But I believe they enlisted others to help such as the men from Karystos in Euboeia.

And old King Nestor was part of it too, wasn't he? (from the west side of the Peloponnese).
